Turning Point Services, Inc. is a North Carolina based company that began in 1995 as the vision of Tom and Judy Brittain. They founded the company in Morganton, North Carolina on the values of person-centered supports and services, client-focused quality measurements, and enhancing/strengthening family and community connections.

Today, Turning Point Services, Inc. has grown to include nearly 40 offices state-wide.  We serve areas from Western North Carolina to the coast.  Turning Point's Community Based Care and in Home Care Services are guided by our values of Honesty, Integrity, Peace, Happiness, Humor, Professionalism. 

Our vision is to empower all people to live life best. Our service delivery is based on the wants and needs of the people we provide services to and those close to them; ensuring our clients lead the life they desire and choose. Our Intellectual and Developmental/Disabilities (IDD) services work closely with five Managed Care Organizations (MCOs) across the state to both develop, and deliver services. Turning Point Service's Home Care is supervised by Registered Nurses.


Turning Point strives to provide the highest quality of services by recruiting qualified staff with proven track records of success and maintain a low QP to client ratio. We provide career development and learning opportunities for all staff members. Our clients and their families are involved in the decision when hiring new staff and contribute to the employee evaluation process for both our direct care and clinical staff.
